Read. Write. Give.

Help adults learn to read and you will help break the intergenerational cycle of poverty. By supporting LiteracyCNY, you can transform lives and make our community a better place to live.

During the Covid19 crisis, LiteracyCNY is offering four classes of remote instruction via Zoom. More than forty students participate regularly. One student is sheltering in place at home in a household of 13 people! The family, including 11 children, lives in a 3-bedroom, 1-bathroom apartment. The older children help with cooking and cleaning. This student still finds time to join his class for 7 hours a week.
